Copyright & DMCA Policy

Last updated: June 9, 2026

Gen NanoBanana respects intellectual property rights. This policy explains how to submit copyright complaints and how we respond. It supplements our Acceptable Use Policy and Terms of Service.

User-generated content

Users provide prompts and reference images and receive AI-generated outputs. Users are responsible for ensuring their inputs and uses comply with copyright, trademark, and publicity rights. Our public prompt library contains curated starter templates; if you believe an item infringes your rights, contact us using the process below.

DMCA takedown notice

If you believe content on Gen NanoBanana infringes your copyright, send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject line DMCA Takedown. Include:

  • your physical or electronic signature;
  • identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed;
  • identification of the material you claim is infringing, with enough detail for us to locate it (URL, prompt title, account email if applicable);
  • your contact information (name, address, telephone, email);
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Counter-notice

If you believe material was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address with the information required under applicable law, including your consent to jurisdiction of the relevant courts if a rights holder files suit.

Repeat infringers

We may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe copyrights or other intellectual property rights, in appropriate circumstances.

Trademark and other IP

For trademark or other intellectual-property concerns that are not copyright takedowns, email [email protected] with the mark, registration details (if any), the infringing URL or content, and how you believe it violates your rights.
