Acceptable Use Policy
Last updated: June 9, 2026
This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to everyone who uses Gen NanoBanana. It supplements our Terms of Service. Violations may result in content removal, credit forfeiture, or account suspension.
Intended use
Gen NanoBanana is a credit-based SaaS studio for lawful creative, marketing, ecommerce, and educational workflows. Typical uses include product photography mockups, social ads, illustrations, storyboards, and short-form video drafts. You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) to use paid features.
Prohibited content and conduct
You may not use the service to create, upload, request, publish, or distribute content that:
- is sexually explicit, pornographic, or otherwise adult in nature;
- involves minors in a sexual, exploitative, or suggestive context — zero tolerance;
- depicts or facilitates non-consensual intimate imagery, deepfakes, or impersonation of real people;
- misuses the likeness of a celebrity, public figure, or private individual without lawful rights or consent;
- promotes violence, terrorism, hate, harassment, or discrimination against protected groups;
- infringes copyright, trademark, trade secret, privacy, or publicity rights;
- facilitates fraud, scams, malware, spam, or deceptive impersonation of brands or institutions;
- violates export controls, sanctions, or other applicable law.
You may not attempt to bypass safety filters, probe for disallowed outputs, scrape the service, resell access without authorization, or abuse free credits or promotions.
Safety and moderation
Generations are processed through third-party AI providers that apply automated safety and moderation controls. We configure provider safety settings and do not disable safety checkers on supported models. Outputs may be blocked or jobs may fail when a request appears to violate this policy or provider rules.
We may review accounts, prompts, or outputs when investigating abuse reports. We do not guarantee that every disallowed use will be prevented.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for your prompts, reference uploads, and how you use outputs. Ensure you have rights to inputs and that commercial use complies with our Terms and applicable third-party model terms.
Enforcement
We may warn, throttle, suspend, or terminate accounts; remove content; or withhold credits when we believe this policy, our Terms, or the law has been violated. Serious violations may be reported to payment processors or authorities where required.
Report abuse
To report policy violations, copyright issues, or other concerns, email [email protected] with the account email (if known), URLs or screenshots, and a short description. For copyright claims, see our Copyright / DMCA Policy.
Changes
We may update this policy as the product and provider capabilities evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page.
